  • Bluegrass Gospel Express – March 24

Men’s Breakfast

Calling all men! Join us on Saturday, March 10, at 8:00 am in the fellowship hall for a great time of food and fellowship! We will be studying the book “Spiritual Leadership” by J. Oswald Sanders. Featured topics include:

  • The cost of leadership
  • The responsibility of leadership
  • Tests of leadership
  • The qualities and criteria of leadership
  • The art of reproducing leaders
  • The one indispensable requirement of leadership

The men’s breakfast will be held on the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, so mark your calendars! For more information, contact Arthur Shepherd, email la.shepherd@verizon.net.

Vacation Bible School

We are hoping to host a Vacation Bible School this summer for the children in our church and the surrounding community! We will hold a meeting on Sunday, March 18, after the 10:30 worship service, for those who may be interested in helping with this. Please sign up on the back table; note that this does not obligate you! We are just investigating dates, times, and how many people we might have to help.

29 Days of Prayer

We are joining together to lay a foundation of prayer in preparation for the “Engaging Life” seminar to be held in March (see announcement below). Please take a “29 Days of Prayer” handout from the back table; this provides a prayer item for each day of February, for your use at home this month.

Engaging Life: Truth and Reason

Mark your calendars for a special life-changing intellectual and spiritual challenge! “Engaging Life: Truth and Reason” seminar will be held at 7:00 pm on March 13, 14, and 15 at King’s Christian Academy, 20738 Point Lookout Road, in Callaway, MD. The event will feature Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, who will share his story “Islam to Christianity”. Dr. Qureshi is a former devout Muslim and evangelical apologist who has dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel through teaching, preaching and debating. Praise and worship will be led by the Word of Life Impact team. Plan to invite your family and friends. Admission is free! Note that each night will cover a new topic, yet will stand alone, so if you can’t make all three nights, just come for the ones you can. Our youth group “Live Wire” will be attending on Tuesday night, and Bible Study will be attending on Wednesday night, instead of the regularly scheduled meetings at church. Grace Chapel POC is Arthur Shepherd, email la.shepherd@verizon.net. Stay tuned for more information!
